Almost everyone has posted their whereabouts on social networking site like Twitter and Facebook. For example “I’m away from home I am at Disneyland for the day.” It seems pretty normal doesn’t it? We want to let all of our friends and family know what were doing. But surprisingly enough, your friends are not the only ones that know you are away from home.
About a year ago It seemed everywhere I turned someone had their vehicle wrapped in vinyl. Now I don’t see it as much (or maybe because I’m in the office all day). I’m not against vinyl wrapped cars, I think for particular situations they work great and can be very effective. However, what I never understood is how someone can justify to spend $3,000-$5,000 dollars on a vehicle wrap and not have a website?
Google’s Street View goes off road and into places where most people don’t often travel. It’s very exciting to see the imagery that is captured and how far Google is willing to take Street View to the next level. Who knows, maybe we will be able to climb Mount Everest in the safe place of our home or walk The Great Wall of China one day?
Remember the days where you had to wait 1 hour to download a 640×480 .jpg? That didn’t last too long, then came the 56k modem and that was revolutionary technology. Years later we were introduced to DSL and Cable modem. And just a a few years ago Verizon came out with FIOS which is extremelly fast and can reach download speeds of up to 50MB per second.
Whoever said “there’s no such thing as a free lunch” was probably right and remains true. However, Denny’s thinks otherwise. Although Denny’s is not giving away a free lunch meal, they are instead offering a free Grand Slam Breakfast on February 9, 2010 from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Denny’s estimated that over 2 million people took advantage of this great offer last year in 2009 and expects to bring in more customers this year.
Technology has advanced 100 fold compared to 100 years ago. However the moral integrity and loyalty of humans has dropped a 100 fold. Back in the good old days, people were concerned about other people. Now it’s a “ME, ME, ME” mentality. Nowadays people are taught from a young age to make money but are not taught that the way you make money is more important. Money should just be a tool and not the Holy Grail. When was the last time you did something for a fellow human free of charge? To give you an example of this situation read below.

LG always puts out a great show during CES and this year wasn’t any different. In fact it was one of the most impressive and visited booths. Walking around the booth was a challenge of its own with hundreds of people flocking to see the latest gadgets this industry giant had to show.
It’s that time of year again, the 2010 Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas is in full effect. My favorite part you ask? The 3D technology television manufacturers will be pushing this year. If you saw the movie Avatar and immediately thought “Wow, I wish I could watch this at home in 3D on my Blu-Ray player!” you won’t have to wait too long as multiple manufacturers like Samsung, LG, JVC, Sony and others are working to make this a reality.
